We work where the need is greatest, regardless of religion, through local organisations in more than 50 of the world's poorest countries. At home and overseas, Christian Aid campaigns to change the structures that keep people poor, challenging inequality and injustice.
The West office in Thornbury supports the work of hundreds of churches and thousands of volunteers in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire.

On the fourth Sunday of each month there is a Family Service at 9.15am at St Paul’s, a Family Eucharist at 10.45am at St Mary’s, and the evening service is normally Choral Evensong. Other Sunday morning services are Eucharistic, with Sunday School at St Paul’s, and provision for children at St Mary’s. We also have service at 4pm in St Mary’s, on the first and third Sunday of every month. The style of this “4all” service is informal, with modern music and a Christian message, and everyone is warmly welcomed. Kids Praise continues at 4pm on the second Sunday of each month, beginning in February. St Mary’s Church is open every day.

Jon Swayne and Becky Price have been playing together for a few years, having discovered a natural rapport in their approach to music.
On the one hand they are exploring English music, especially from 17th and 18th century sources, and this forms the core of their concert repertoire and of their recently released CD, Love and a Bottle. On the other they have built up an enthusiastic following in European dance circles, where a large part of their repertoire is made up of their own rich and beguiling compositions.
If you're a Blowzabella fan or an English folkie, this should be right up your street. If you're into European piping, this is an excellent example. English music was rarely better served.
