2-5pm, top of the High Street, Thornbury
Open as part of the National Garden Scheme initiative for people to look round the allotments. There will be plenty of allotment holders on hand to talk about their plots – there are about 125 different plots.
Teas and coffees as well as home-made cakes will be available to purchase. There will also be a plant stall selling flower and vegetable plants as well as produce from the allotments which are available for sale.
The plots will be in good order because the “Best Kept Allotment” competition will have been judged on 4th July by an RHS judge so the winners will have been announced as will the results of the “Best Scarecrow Competition”.
Entrance is £3 per person. Last year we had over 300 visitors and over £1,100 was raised for the various charities that NGS supports.
