Turnberries

Turnberrie's is Thornbury's newest community building, with fantastic facilities for everyone to use.

We are licensed for weddings, christenings and dances, with a large main hall to accommodate your family and friends, and in-house catering.

If you're looking for something smaller for a business or community group meeting, we have a variety of rooms for you to choose from, including craft, music and games rooms.

You can even hire our brand new computer suite with twelve networked computers, ideal for training purposes.

Turnberrie's cafe

Or just pop in to Turnberrie's cafe for a drink and a bite to eat, and chill out in our community garden.

Rooms are available 9am-11pm, seven days a week, with prices starting at £7 per hour.

We are a base for Thornbury Youth Centre and a day centre for adults with learning difficulties.

Turnberrie's cafe logo

Turnberrie's cafe is run by The Brandon Trust, which develops opportunities and supports people with learning disabilities across the South West.

The cafe aims to provide high quality food and refreshments at great value for money, using local providers and fair-trade suppliers, where possible, whilst offering a varied range of healthy options.

As well as catering for parties and meetings, the cafe serves delicious coffees, lunches and snacks between 9am and 3.30pm on weekdays.

Turnberries cafe is open for Sunday Brunch 9am-12.30pm, with cooked breakfasts, pastries, newspapers and coffees.

We're looking for volunteers to run the cafe on Saturday mornings - if you're interested, we'd love to hear from you.
